DURANGO, Colo. – The Black Hills State cross country teams travel to Durango, Colorado for the RMAC Cross Country Championships on Saturday.

The Yellow Jackets head into the championship meet with a head full of steam as they have had great success so far this season. BHSU has had both squads finish first-overall in their first three meets as well as the men claiming a top-ten finish at the NCAA Pre-National meet just a couple of weeks ago. On both squads, multiple veteran athletes have shown growth through career-record times being clocked this season.
For the men, BHSU is sending
Tim Brown,
Britton Elkin,
Lincoln Fleischman, Justyn France,
Hayden Grosz,
Keith Osowski,
Matt Parker,
David Standish, and Mason Swingholm to compete in the men's 8K race at 12:00 p.m.
For the ladies, the Yellow Jackets representing BHSU will be
Xiomara Robinson,
Sylvia Brown, Elizabeth Farris, Evie Boyd, and Katie Turpin. The RMAC ladies will be racing in a 6K event and is slated to take place right after the men at 12:50 p.m.
The race will be held at the Hill Crest Golf Course in Durango, Colorado as Fort Lewis plays host for the meet this year.
