DURANGO, Colo. – Black Hills State cross country competed in the RMAC Championship meet early Saturday afternoon and saw the men place 11^th in the men's 8K, while the women placed 10^th in the 6K.
 
Britton Elkin (26:28.10) was the first Yellow Jacket to cross the finish line for the men, clocking out in 48^th.  Matt Parker (26:37.90) was the next finish for BHSU, placing 52^nd.
 
The next finisher for the Yellow Jackets was Lincoln Fleischman (27:01.10) who placed in 59^th. Tim Brown (27:06.90) finished next in 63^rd, followed by Hayden Grosz (27:15.20) in a 66^th place finish. Mason Swingholm (27:24.90) finished 70^th.
 
David Standish (28:00.40) was the next Yellow Jacket to cross the line as he timed out in 87^th. Keith Osowski (28:02.10) came next in line as he clocked out in 88^th. Justyn France (28:48.50) rounded out the BHSU field after placing 104^th.
 
In the women's 6K, Xiomara Robinson (22:37.10) timed out first for the Yellow Jackets as she placed 20^th. Sylvia Brown (22:39.80) came in tow as she finished 23^rd. Both ladies received 2022 RMAC Second Team All-Conference accolades after today's meet.
 
Elizabeth Farris (25:21.70) was the next Yellow Jacket to cross as she finished 73^rd while Katie Turpin (26:54.40) completed the race in 95^th. Evie Boyd rounded out the BHSU runners with a 99th-place finish.
