COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Black Hills State women's track and field brought home a sweep of the RMAC Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week awards this week as
Breanne Fuller was named the Track Athlete of the Week and
Kyla Sawvell was named the Field Athlete of the Week as announced by the league office Wednesday afternoon.

Breanne Fuller was lightening fast this weekend as she broke the school record in the women's 60m dash with a time of 7.71 breaking her own record which she set last year of 7.75. She followed up her record-breaking performance in the women's 60m dash with a first-place finish in the women's 200m dash with a time of 25.48. This is Breanne's first Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week Honor for the 2021-22 season.

Sawvell started her weekend out with a first place finish in the women's weight throw after earning a mark of 19.04m (62' 5.75"). Sawvell rounded out the weekend with a second first place finish on Saturday in the shot put with a mark of 14.26m (46' 9.5"). This marks Sawvell's third Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week Honors for the 2021-22 season.
