Black Hills State volleyball heads to Fairbanks, Alaska for four more games over a three-day period that extends into this weekend.
 
The Yellow Jackets will be competing in the Denali State Bank Ice Block Classic, hosted by the University of Alaska Fairbanks. BHSU will begin their tournament play on Thursday night, taking on the hosting Nanooks at 9:30 p.m.* The ladies will then play two more on Friday, taking on Arkansas-Fort Smith at 11:30 a.m. and Alaska Anchorage at 7 p.m. The Yellow Jackets will play their final tournament match at 7 p.m. on Saturday against Florida Southern.
 
Last weekend, Yellow Jacket volleyball competed in the Rockhurst Invitational tournament in Kansas City, MO, finishing with a 1-3 record. Senior Kindra Cerrone was named to the All-Tournament team at the weekend's conclusion.

They lost game one to Rockhurst University in three sets, dominated Missouri Western in four, lost to MSU-Mankato in four, and fell short to No. 16 ranked Hillsdale College in a competitive 3-2 series.
