Black Hills State (2-11, 1-4 RMAC) vs. No. 19 Regis University (8-4, 4-0 RMAC)
Black Hills State is coming off a hot offensive performance against South Dakota Mines on Tuesday, Sept. 20 as they swept the Hardrockers in three sets on their home turf. In the last few weeks, the Yellow Jackets have been highly competitive throughout their matches and found a nice rhythm in Rapid City earlier this week. They will be looking to capitalize on that momentum as they head into one of their toughest matchups of the season.
Regis is red-hot on a seven-game winning streak going into the weekend after winning last week's contests against Fort Lewis (3-2) and Western Colorado (3-0). As of Sept. 19, the Rangers were ranked in the coaches' polls at 19th in the nation while sitting at second in the RMAC. The Rangers are 2-0 at home this season and are looking to keep it that way against a strong-willed BHSU team. Regis will play host to South Dakota Mines on Friday, Sept. 23 before their matchup against the Yellow Jackets.
The last time these two teams met was on Oct. 1, 2021 and saw the Yellow Jackets fall to the Rangers after five competitive sets at the Donald E. Young Center.
