Black Hills State (2-12, 1-5 RMAC) vs. Colorado Christian University (9-6, 4-2 RMAC)
The Cougars currently sit at seventh in the RMAC and are coming off a split 1-1 weekend on the road. They defeated Westminster (Utah) in three-straight on Friday, Sept. 23 and dropped their second game against Colorado Mesa, 3-0, on Saturday, Sept. 24. CCU plays tough at home, sitting at a 2-1 home record this season. One key matchup to look out for in this contest is between outside hitters Libby Goodman (CCU) and Madison Hoopman (BHSU). Both ladies are in the RMAC top five for kills this season, with Goodman leading the RMAC with 3.88 kills/set and Hoopman in fourth with 3.46 kills/set. The last time these two teams met was on Oct. 8, 2021 and saw the hosting Yellow Jackets sweep the Cougars in three-straight (W, 3-0).

MSU-Denver sits as the first-seed in RMAC women's volleyball this season and has only seen one loss, which occurred on Sept. 3 against the No. 6 Concordia State-St. Paul as the Roadrunners took a 3-1 loss. Since then, MSU-Denver has won their last six of matchups to remain undefeated against RMAC teams. The last time the Roadrunners and the Yellow Jackets faced off was Oct. 9, 2021 and saw BHSU fall to the Roadrunners at home (L, 3-0).

  • Hoopman is 13 kills away from hitting 1000 career kills, making her the ninth Yellow Jacket in BHSU history to hit the career milestone.
