Black Hills State Athletics finished the 2022 Fall semester with an overall GPA of 3.38.

Overall GPA continues to rise after a 3.33 GPA in the Spring of 2022, and a 3.32 GPA before that in the fall of 2021.

Women's basketball had the highest Fall GPA, averaging a 3.77 as a team, while men's rodeo led all men's programs with their 3.48 GPA.

"I am so proud of our student-athletes, coaches and staff for continuing to improve upon our success in the classroom while achieving an outstanding overall GPA of 3.38 this past Fall," said Padraic McMeel, Director of Athletics. "Our young men and women continue to excel academically, having increased our GPA each of the last three semesters, while also improving in competition and in community service."
