DICKINSON, N.D. – Black Hills State rodeo had another strong showing this weekend with the women's team winning the Blue Hawk Stampede, and the men finishing third.
Cashae McGee earned Women's Reserve All-Around for her performance.
Women
In Goat Tying,
Riley Donnelly placed second with a 14.9 on two, followed by McGee in third with a 15.2 on two and
Haven Jones in third with a 15.2 on two.
Karli Verhulst placed fifth with a 15.3 on two.
McGee also placed sixth in Barrel Racing with a 35.35 on two.
Sydney Theobald had a third-place showing in the Breakaway Roping long-go with a 3.0
Men
Austin Madison won the Steer Wrestling with an 11.4 on two.
In Tie Down Roping, Treg Thorstenson came in third with a 23.7 on two and
Luke Mavity was fifth with a 26.3 on two.
Riley Staton won Team Roping with a 20.8 on two. Also placing in the event for the Yellow Jackets were
Slater Tople in fourth with an 8.6 on one, and
Swade Reis in sixth with a 10.1 on one.
