Two More Road Matches Slated for Soccer

Black Hills State women's soccer comes off a difficult weekend after facing the No. 5 and No. 20 teams in the nation, and now sets its sights on New Mexico Highlands and Adams State.

The Yellow Jackets (3-6, 1-3 RMAC) will travel to Las Vegas, N.M. on Friday, Oct. 6 to take on NMHU at 3 p.m., before playing ASU in Alamosa, Colo. on Sunday, Oct. 8 at 1 p.m.

The Cowgirls are looking for their first win of the season, having been outscored 32-5 in their first seven matches this season.

BHSU is 2-4 all-time against NMHU since 2016, having now won two of their last three meetings.

BHSU (3-4-0, 1-1-0 RMAC) vs. ASU (2-4-3, 1-2-1 RMAC)
Adams State has seen an up and down start to the season, including three ties, a pair of shutout wins, and a tight 1-0 loss to the No. 5 team in the nation, Colorado Mesa. Last weekend they beat Western Colorado 1-0, and finished in a scoreless tie with Fort Lewis.

BHSU is 1-4-1 all-time against ASU. Their lone win came in 2019 with a 1-0 victory, and their next meeting was in 2021 which ended in a 2-2 tie.
