JOPLIN, Mo. – Black Hills State cross country's Sylvia and Tim Brown are set to represent BHSU at the NCAA Division II National Championships on Saturday, Nov. 18 at the Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course in Joplin.
 
The women's 6k run will kick things off at 11 a.m. ET (9 a.m. MST), with the men's 10k following up at 12:15 p.m. ET (10:15 a.m. MST).
 
At the NCAA DII South Central Regionals, Sylvia earned 22nd in the women's 6k race with a time of 21:19.21, earning the junior All-Region honors and besting her previous South-Central appearance of 22:35.8.
 
Tim Brown, who's been the lead runner for the Yellow Jacket men through this season, secured a 29th place finish in 30:54.86 that punched a personal best 10k for the junior.
 
A livestream of the NCAA DII National Championships will be available here, on the Men's and Women's cross country schedules located on the BHSU Athletics website, and NCAA.com. The stream will begin at 11 a.m. ET and will roll through the end of the awards ceremony.
