Black Hills State softball will open its second series of the season, this time heading to Colorado Mesa for a pair of doubleheaders.

Games will start at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25 and then 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26. in Grand Junction, Colo.

CMU is 5-7 overall this season and 3-1 in RMAC play after taking three of four from Fort Lewis last weekend while outscoring them 29-15.

The Yellow Jackets are 3-30 all-time against the Mavericks dating back to 2012 and have lost their last 25 matchups. The team's last win over CMU was on March 3, 2013.

BHSU is coming off a weekend where the team was shaking off the rust in their first games of the season after not playing any non-conference games, getting swept at Colorado Mines.
