Black Hills State softball looks to continue its season with a pair of doubleheaders at New Mexico Highlands this weekend.

This series was originally scheduled to be hosted by BHSU, but was subsequently switched to be played at NMHU due to weather and field conditions in Spearfish.

Games will start at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 4 and then 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 5 in Las Vegas, N.M.

NMHU is 8-7 overall this season and 4-3 in RMAC play after taking three from Adams State last weekend while outscoring them 25-2. The weekend prior they went 1-3 against UCCS.

BHSU is 8-20 all-time against the Cowboys dating back to 2013 but have won six of their last 10 matchups.

The Yellow Jackets are coming off a series against a tough Colorado Mesa team, taking one of four an earning its first win over the Mavericks in 27 games.
