COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference released their preseason poll on Wednesday afternoon, which has Black Hills State women's track and field set to finish ninth in the conference with 66 points.
The Yellow Jackets are coming into the spring off an indoor season that saw multiple improvements via personal bests and school records broken, including 10 improved marks and a school record at the RMAC Indoor Championships in February.
Senior
Breanne Fuller led the charge for BHSU at the conference meet as she placed top-five in two events in Alamosa. Fuller competed in the women's 200m and 60m dashes, placing in fifth in the 200m while landing on the podium in the 60m dash with a record-time of 7.66, with her performances earning her Indoor All-RMAC status in the 200m dash (First Team) and 60m dash (Second Team).
In the women's poll, Colorado Mines holds first place with 163 points and eight first-place votes while UC-Colorado Springs takes second with 155 points and 3 first-place tallies. Adams State claims the last three first-place ballots with 147 points to land in third on the preseason poll.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action next Friday, March 31 and Saturday, April 1 for the CSU Pueblo Invite in Pueblo, Colorado.
