BHSU Athletic Communications Nabs Four National Honors

Black Hills State's Athletic Communications department was honored this week, receiving four national awards from the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2022-23 Creative and Digital Design Contest.

After receiving two honors last year, the BHSU Athletic Communications group doubled its total to four this year.

BHSU's Men's Basketball Game Notes were voted fourth in the nation in the College Division Winter Game Notes category, while its MBB Milestone graphics series placed fifth in the nation. These items were designed and maintained by Assistant AD for Communications, Riley Baker.

In the College Division Pregame/Hype Video category, the Yellow Jackets had their Men's Basketball RMAC Tournament Hype Video voted eighth in the nation and their Men's Basketball Intro Video place tenth. Each of these videos were created and produced by Assistant Director of Athletics Communications and Video Content Services, Bryce Johnson.

This is the second year that CSC Creative and Digital Design awards have been earned by BHSU, bringing the total to six all-time.

All materials submitted to the CoSIDA Publication & Design Contest are judged by select members of the media and professionals from the printing industry. The organization has more than 3,100 members from across the U.S. and Canada.
