Black Hills State women's basketball has announced its schedule for the 2023-24 season which will feature four non-conference matchups and 14 home contests within the 26-game lineup.

The Yellow Jacket ladies will open the season in North Dakota on Tuesday, Nov. 14 against the UMary Marauders before heading home to host the East/West Challenge, which will feature home matchups against the University of Sioux Falls on Friday, Nov. 17 and Northern State on Saturday, Nov. 18.

BHSU will then play host to a non-conference bout against South Dakota Mines on Monday, Nov. 27 before opening RMAC play on the road against Regis and UC-Colorado Springs on Friday, Dec. 1 and Saturday, Dec 2., respectively.

The following week will see the Yellow Jackets return to the Donald E. Young Center on Friday, Dec. 8 to open home RMAC play against Metro State before going head-to-head with Colorado Mines on Saturday, Dec. 9.

On Friday, Dec. 15, the Yellow Jackets will head south to Las Vegas, New Mexico to finish their 2023 portion of the season against New Mexico Highlands.

Returning from the holiday break on Friday, January 5, BHSU will open 2024 against Adams State before closing the weekend out with Fort Lewis on Saturday, Jan. 6. To top off the three-game home slate, the Yellow Jackets square off against the Mountaineers of Western Colorado on Saturday, Jan. 13.

Women's basketball returns to the road on Friday, January 19 for a matchup against Colorado Mesa before they turn northwest to Salt Lake City, Utah to take on Westminster on Saturday, Jan. 20.

Yellow Jacket women's basketball will remain in South Dakota for the remainder of January as the ladies will host New Mexico Highlands on Friday, Jan. 26 and CSU Pueblo on Saturday, Jan. 27 before coasting along I-90 to take on South Dakota Mines in Rapid City on Wednesday, Jan. 31.Â

To open the month of February, BHSU will travel for a trio of road games starting with Colorado Christian on Saturday, Feb. 3, Colorado Mines on Friday, Feb. 9, and ending in the Mile-High City against Metro State on Saturday, Feb. 10.

Following the road stretch, BHSU will then host UCCS and Regis on Friday, Feb. 16 and Saturday, Feb. 17 before competing in their final regular season road games of the season against Fort Lewis on Friday, Feb. 23 and Adams State on Saturday, Feb. 24.

Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2 will see the Yellow Jacket ladies put a lid on the 2023-24 regular season from home court as they're set to lock horns with Colorado Christian and Chadron State, respectively.

The RMAC post-season tournament will begin on March 5 and conclude with the RMAC Championship game on March 9.
