Black Hills State women's soccer will kick off the 2023 season this weekend as the team hits the road for matches on Saturday and Sunday.

The Yellow Jackets will travel to Mitchell, S.D. to take on Dakota Wesleyan on Saturday, Sept. 2 at 12 p.m., before returning to the pitch on Sunday in Yankton, S.D. to play Mount Marty at 8 a.m.

BHSU finished last season with a 1-13-2 record overall and 1-11 in the RMAC. This year, though, the team enters the campaign under new head coach John Hutchison, who previously helped turn a Presentation program into a winning team from 2020 to 2022.
