Black Hills State women's soccer will host its home opener on Thursday as the team wraps up the non-conference portion of its schedule against MSU Billings at 1 p.m.

After a record-setting start to the season, outscoring their opponents 11-0 over their first two games, the defense continued to play well last weekend as they conceded only seven shots on goal between the two games.

In two games so far this season, MSU Billings fell to Minot State 1-0 on Sept. 7 before tying with Carroll College 2-2 on Sept. 9. Last season, the Yellowjackets finished 3-12-4 overall and 3-9-2 in the GNAC.

BHSU is 0-2-1 all time against MSU Billings, with losses in 2017 and 2018 before finishing in a 1-1 tie last year.
