Black Hills State women's soccer continues RMAC play with a pair of ranked opponents on the road, starting with No. 20 Colorado School of Mines on Friday, Sept. 29 at 6 p.m., and then playing No. 5 Colorado Mesa on Sunday, Oct. 1 at 11 a.m.

The Yellow Jackets (3-4, 1-1 RMAC) are off to an improved start to the season, having scored 13 goals so far this year, and three of their four losses being in one-point games.

After a 3-0 start to the season, including a 4-0 win over (RV) Chico State, the Orediggers tied No. 3 Dallas Baptist 2-2 before defeating (RV) Western Washington and falling to Seattle Pacific to wrap up non-conference play 4-1-1.

CSM is looking for its first RMAC win of the season, starting last weekend with a 2-0 loss to UCCS this past Thursday, and a 1-1 tie with CSU Pueblo on Sunday. All-time, the Yellow Jackets are 0-7 against the Orediggers.

Colorado Mesa is an undefeated 7-0 this season and 2-0 in RMAC play, having rolled past Lubbock Christian (3-0), Cal State-San Bernadino (2-1), Newman (7-0), Angelo State (2-0), West Texas A&M (2-1), and then New Mexico Highlands (5-0) and Adams State (1-0).

Overall, the Mavericks have outscored their opponents 22-2 this season. The Yellow Jackets are 0-6-1 all-time against CMU dating back to 2016.
