PUEBLO, Colo. – The Black Hills State University women's soccer team fell in their final road contest of the weekend by a score of 3-0 to CSU Pueblo at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium on Sunday. The ThunderWolves capitalized on a set play corner kick and tacked on a penalty kick goal to take a 2-0 lead at the half before adding one final goal in the second half en route to their RMAC win. The Yellow Jackets were unable to place a shot on target until the second half and were limited to only a pair of shots on frame as the defenses limited the offenses' opportunities for both sides in the contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Allanah Facio corralled the first shot attempt of the match by either team as she made the save off the bounce of a header by Sydney Lasater in the third minute.
- Tallying the lone shot attempt of the first half for Black Hills State was Paige Hill in the fourth minute of action as she received the ball in the box after a series of passes, however the shot attempt went wide right of the goal after pressure from an oncoming defender.
- On their second corner kick attempt of the game, CSU Pueblo found the back of the net in the 33rd minute as Abby Menk headed the ball into the left corner of the goal off the pass from Kia Comstock to give the ThunderWolves the 1-0 lead.
- As first half began to wind down, CSUP pushed their lead to 2-0 as Lora Membrives connected on a penalty kick, sending the ball into the top left corner of the net in the 43rd minute.
- The Yellow Jackets recorded the first three shot attempts of the second half, including a penalty kick attempt by Katy Vinton in the 56th minute that would be saved by Elaina Leitner to keep the score 2-0. Shortly after the penalty kick attempt, Hailey Warren placed the final shot attempt on target for BHSU as she fired the ball for the top left corner of the net from the top right corner of the box, however Leitner was able to make the leaping save.
- The ThunderWolves found the back of the net one final time in the contest in the 69th minute as Sydney Lasater sent a pass forward towards the right side of the field, leading Lorena Vargas-Galvan into the box as she then fired the ball into the back left corner of the net to make it a 3-0 game.
- Hill recorded the last shot attempt of the game for Black Hills State in the 79th minute after the ball landed at her feet after a scramble in the box, however her shot attempt went wide left of the net from the top right corner of the box.
- Facio made her second save of the contest for the Yellow Jackets in the 88th minute when she corralled a shot from the top of the box by Helena Domingues.
- CSU Pueblo held the advantage in shots (8-5), shots on goal (5-2), and corner kicks (5-2), while the teams were even with two saves apiece.
