KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's (RMAC) leading scorer this season will represent the league and Black Hills State University at the 2024 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC)-Reese's Division II All-Star game in Evansville, Indiana, ahead of the NCAA Division II Championship Game.
The 2023-24 Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) Honorable Mention All-American and First Team All-RMAC performer will be the lone representative of the RMAC on the All-Star roster in Evansville.
"It is a great honor for Matthew to be selected to play in the NCAA DII all-star game. He is the first Yellow Jacket to compete in this game," commented head men's basketball coach
Ryan Thompson. "Matthew had a tremendous year for us this past season, and an historic RMAC career. We are proud of all Matthew accomplished during his career on the basketball court, and even prouder of how he represented our university during his time in Spearfish."
Ragsdale will compete on the West roster who will be coached by Lee University's (Tenn.) Bubba Smith. Smith led Lee to back-to-back NCAA tournaments.
