Peskey, Pauwels Take Home RMAC Weekly Honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO- The RMAC conference announced their weekly Pitcher and Player of the Week awards Tuesday afternoon. Among the honorees was Laci Peskey, who was named the RMAC Pitcher of the Week for the second time in two playing weeks, and Ashlynn Pauwels, who was named RMAC Player of the Week, which is her first weekly award. This was for their performances in a 4-0 road sweep of Adams State. It is the first time in BHSU's D2 history that we have had a player win RMAC Player of the Week. It is also the first time in our RMAC history that we have had a Player and Pitcher of the Week on the same week. It is only the second time in team history that we have had a player win Pitcher of the Week twice in the same season.
