COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO- The RMAC conference announced their Pitcher and Player of the Week awards Tuesday afternoon. Among the honorees was Laci Peskey, who was named the RMAC Pitcher of the Week for her performance in the four-game series versus New Mexico Highlands. It is Peskey's third career RMAC Pitcher of the Week honor and all three have been this season. She is the first pitcher in program history to have three conference Pitcher of the Week awards in the same season. It is the fourth weekly award for the Yellow Jackets this season, which is the most in a single season in program history.

•    Laci Peskey helped lead BHSU to their third straight conference series win, which is the first time in our RMAC history that we've accomplished that. 
•    Peskey went 2-0 with two complete games and also added a save. 
•    She pitched 19 IP over the 2 days, appearing in all four games, and only allowed one ER, while having 30 strikeouts. 
•    She had a .37 ERA over the weekend only allowing 12 hits and six walks. 
•    She had double digit strikeouts in both games she started this weekend, and didn't allow any runs in either relief outings this past weekend.
•    Peskey broke the BHSU single season record for Wins in a season with her 10th win on Sunday. She is currently ranked 3rd in the country in wins
•    She also moved into the top 8 in BHSU single season strikeout leaders with 93 total strikeouts so far. She is currently the leader in the NCAA (all levels) in strikeouts, being the only pitcher in the country with over 90 Ks. 
•    She is ranked fourth in the country in complete games.
