COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO.- The RMAC conference announced their Pitcher and Player of the Week awards Tuesday afternoon. Among the honorees was
Laci Peskey, who was named RMAC Pitcher of the Week for the fifth time this season. Peskey earned the award for her performance against Fort Lewis this week. She is the only player this year to win the award more than twice and has been absolutely dominant for the Yellow Jackets.

• Peskey helped lead the Jackets to a 3-1 series win over Fort Lewis that clinched our first ever RMAC Tournament Appearance
• She went 3-0 this week, recording wins in each of the three games she appeared.
• She had a 0.49 ERA with only allowing one run in 14.1 innings of work.
• She only walked two batters all series and struck out 18. Making it a 9.0 K/BB ratio.
• In game one of the series, she threw a 7 Inning two-hit shutout with eight strikeouts.
• In game two, she came in relief in the fifth inning and threw 2.1 1-hit innings, which helped BHSU come back and get the win there.
• In game three of the series, she only allowed one run in 7 IP, while striking out six.
• She now ranks fourth in the country in strikeouts, sixth in wins, and fifth in complete games.
