Yellow Jackets Place 12 on RMAC Academic Honor Roll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – On Thursday afternoon the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced the 2025 First Team Academic All-RMAC selections and RMAC Academic Honor Roll honorees for the sport of women's outdoor track & field. Highlighting this year's selections and representing Black Hills State University was a dozen recipients of the RMAC Academic Honor Roll, which included Evie Boyd, Sylvia Brown, Hope Bryant, Katie Charest, Norah Entzi, Sierra Hopp, Elissa Kipp, Katelyn Krieger, Abigail Robberson, Alivia Weathers, Erin Weibel, Alexis Weiers.

Boyd receives RMAC Academic Honor Roll recognition for the second time in her career, previously receiving the honor for the 2025 indoor season. She competed in five meets this season, seeing a pair of highlights as she broke the school record in the 5,000m run with a third place time of 17:22.89 in a field of 65 athletes at the ULV Leopard Invitational, and ranks seventh in the 3,000m steeplechase with a sixth place time of 11:05.83 at the Franson Last Chance. She added a third career-best time with a 1,500m time of 4:57.17 at the Dr. Dan Caprioglio Invitational. At the 2025 RMAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships she ran to a tenth place time of 11:22.10 in the 3,000m steeplechase. In the classroom she was pursuing a degree in basic Spanish language proficiency/elementary education.

Brown finds a spot on the RMAC Academic Honor Roll for fifth time in her career, previously earning the honor during the 2023, 2024, and 2025 indoor seasons and the 2023 outdoor season. She competed in four meets during the outdoor season. She posted a career-best, NCAA Provisional time, and school record in the 10,000m run as she crossed the line in a time of 35:03.93 for eighth place in a field of 55 athletes at the Bryan Clay Invitational. At the BCI she bested 31 NCAA Division I runners in the process and the time ranked 31st in all of NCAA Division II at the end of the year. She also secured an outdoor career-best time of 17:29.66 in the 5,000m run at the Scott Walkinshaw Open & Multi, earning the win in the event and moving her into third all-time in program history. In the classroom she was pursuing a degree in exercise science.

Bryant is earning RMAC Academic Honor Roll accolades for the first time in her collegiate career following the 2025 outdoor season. She competed in three meets during the outdoor season and posted a career-best mark of 3.05m (10' 0") at the Scott Walkinshaw Open & Multi, finishing fifth with in the meet with a mark that ranked 17th on the league's outdoor performance list. In the classroom she was pursuing a degree in biology.

Charest is earning RMAC Academic Honor Roll recognition for the second time in her career, previously earning the award in the 2024 indoor season. She competed in the 3,000m steeplechase in two meets during the outdoor season, clocking a pair of top-3 finishes. She won the event with a season-best time of 12:50.68 at the Bauer Open and finished third with a time of 13:15.36 at the Scott Walkinshaw Open & Multi. In the classroom she was pursuing a degree in biology/chemistry.

Earning RMAC Academic Honor Roll recognition for the second time in her career after also receiving it in the 2025 indoor season is Entzi. During the outdoor season she competed in five meets, concluding the year at the 2025 RMAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a 19th place finish in the 800m run as she notched a time of 2:22.66. She clocked a pair of career-best times this year, posting a time of 2:20.79 in the 800m run at the Jim Duncan Invitational, and ran a 5:01.41 in the 1,500m run at the Dr. Dan Caprioglio Invitational. Over the course of the season she earned two top-5 finishes, earning a second place finish in the 800m run at the Bauer Open (2:23.08) and a third place finish in the 800m run at the Scott Walkinshaw Open & Multi (2:23.23). In the classroom she was pursuing a degree in exercise science.

Hopp earns RMAC Academic Honor Roll recognition for the first time in her career after competing in four meets during the 2025 outdoor season. She recorded a pair of career-best times, clocking a 5:09.35 in the 1,500m run for third place at the Bauer Open and posted a time of 18:33.22 in the 5,000m run for seventh place at the Jim Duncan Invitational. She finished within the top-10 of all four races she competed in and had one top-5 finish on the year. In the classroom she was pursuing a degree in photography.

Kipp is receiving recognition on the RMAC Academic Honor Roll for the first time in her career after competing in five meets during the outdoor season. She ranked 24th in the hammer throw on the RMAC Outdoor Track & Field Performance List with a career-best mark of 39.55m (129' 9") to finish sixth at the Bauer Open. She notched three top-10 finishes over the course of the year. In the classroom she was pursuing a degree in biology.

Krieger earns RMAC Academic Honor Roll honors for the second time in her career, previously earning the honor during the 2025 indoor season. She competed in five meets during the outdoor season, closing out the year at the 2025 RMAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships as she ran to a 15th place finish in the 1,500m run with a time of 4:54.60. She cracked the top-10 of the Yellow Jacket All-Time Performance List in the 1,500m run, clocking a career-best time of 4:41.17 for sixth place at the Beach Invite. At the Scott Walkinshaw Open & Multi she notched a pair of event victories, crossing the finish line in a time of 2:21.95 in the 800m run and 4:50.71 in the 1,500m run. Overall, she totaled four top-10 finishes during the season. In the classroom she was pursuing a degree in photography/studio art.

Robberson earns RMAC Academic Honor Roll honors for the second time in her career, previously earning the honor during the 2025 indoor season. She competed in four meets during the outdoor season, highlighted by a pair of career-best outings. Her first career-best time of the year came in the 10,000m run at the Dr. Dan Caprioglio Invitational, clocking a time of 38:55.66 for 11th place, and her second career-best time came at the Scott Walkinshaw Open & Multi as she placed fourth in the 5,000m run with a time of 18:46.28. Her top time of 38:55.66 in the 10,000m run ranked her 25th on the RMAC Outdoor Performance List as it was converted to 37:45.15 due to elevation. In the classroom she was pursuing a degree in biology/chemistry.

Weathers secured RMAC Academic Honor Roll recognition for the second time in her career, previously earning the accolade for the 2024 and 2025 indoor seasons. She competed in seven meets during the year. At the 2025 RMAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships she earned a seventh place finish in the javelin with a career-best throw of 38.37m (125' 11"), a tenth place finish with 3,693 points in the heptathlon, and a 20th place finish in the 100m hurdles with time of 16.58. At the conference championships she posted a pair of top-5 finishes, winning the javelin with a throw of 36.64m (120' 2") and was fifth in the shot put with a mark of 10.74m (35' 3"). The multis athlete ranked top-25 in four categories on the RMAC Outdoor Track & Field Performance List, ranking ninth in the javelin with her throw of 38.37m (125' 11") at the RMAC Championships, tenth in the heptathlon with a total of 3,906 points to win the Scott Walkinshaw Open & Multi, 21st in the 100m hurdles with a career-best time of 16.12 at the Scott Walkinshaw Open & Multi, and 24th in the shot put with a career-best throw of 11.15m (36' 7") at the Scott Walkinshaw Open & Multi. Her one other career-best of the year was in the 100m dash, clocking a time of 13.76. She recorded nine top-10 finishes on the year, four top-5 finishes, and one event win. In the classroom she was pursuing a degree in general studies/tourism/hospitality management.

Weibel earns RMAC Academic Honor Roll recognition for the third time in her career, previously receiving the accolade for the 2024 and 2025 indoor seasons. She competed in six meets during the outdoor season and capped the year with a First Team All-RMAC performance in the pole vault at the 2025 RMAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships where she cleared 3.68m (12' 0.75") for third place. The mark set a new outdoor career-best mark and is tied for sixth on the program's all-time performance list. She finished within the top-5 of the event in five meets, was within the top-3 on four occasions, and secured a pair of victories at the Scott Walkinshaw Open & Multi where she cleared 3.50m (11' 5.75") and the Bauer Open where she cleared 3.40m (11' 1.75"). She competed in the high jump in one meet during the season, taking fifth place at the Bauer Open with a mark of 1.40m (4' 7"). In the classroom she was pursuing a degree in physical education.

Receiving RMAC Academic Honor Roll for the second time in her career, Weiers previously earned the accolade during the 2025 indoor season. She competed in three meets during the outdoor season, which was highlighted by a second place finish and season-best time of 5:08.92 in the 1,500m run at the Bauer Open. In the classroom she was pursuing a degree in elementary education.

The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes in each conference-sponsored sport who academically maintain at least a 3.30 cumulative grade-point average, have completed two consecutive semesters at their current institution, and have used a season of competition.

Each institution's athletic communications directors nominate student-athletes who academically maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, along with the other criteria for the Academic Honor Roll, for recognition on the First Team Academic All-RMAC in each sport. The league's athletic communications directors for that sport vote to compose the First Team Academic All-RMAC and select the Academic Player of the Year. They are not permitted to vote for their own student-athletes.
