SPEARFISH, S.D. - Tickets are now on sale for the 2026-27 Black Hills State men's and women's basketball seasons, which tip-off in the coming weeks. Available with the partnership of Vivenu, the new online shop aims for a new fan friendly experience with all ticketing needs, sending your tickets directly to your phone with just a click of a button. Additionally, the new partnership allows fans in the Green & Gold to purchase an all-new All-Sports Pass for every ticketed event. Vivenu will be the ONLY place to get tickets to Black Hills State events (fans cannot purchase tickets from third party vendors), and tickets will be sent via email or text directly from Vivenu.
On the hardwood of A2 Arena, Yellow Jacket fans helped create one of the top home court advantages in all of NCAA Division II, as the men's team ranked third nationally with an average attendance of 1,961 and the women's team ranked 13th nationally with an average attendance of 998. The home court advantage proved to be beneficial as the teams combined to go 23-3 in their home venue in 2025-26, as the men were 13-1 and the women were 10-2.
The 2026-27 season features 14 men's basketball games, including an exhibition game against NAIA preseason No. 4 Rocky Mountain that is free admission to the public on October 31, and 12 women's basketball games. Of those contests, ten are RMAC doubleheaders, with an additional non-conference doubleheader when the women host Wayne State and the men play Northern State. The premier games for the season include the December 8 doubleheader against Chadron State, the December 30 doubleheader against Wayne State and Northern State, the February 6 doubleheader against South Dakota Mines, and the February 11 doubleheader against UCCS. Season tickets grant access to only regular season contests and are not accepted for admission into postseason games.
