COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo- The RMAC conference announced their first 2026 Pitcher and Player of the Week awards Tuesday afternoon. Among the honorees was
Kaitlyn Geschwill, who was named the RMAC Pitcher of the Week for her performance at the 2026 Bubble Invitational in Minot, North Dakota. It is her first ever RMAC accolade and the second year in a row that BHSU has had a pitcher take home the award in the opening week of the season.

- Geschwill was a major contributor to BHSU's 3-3 record at the 2026 Bubble Invitational in Minot N.D.
- She pitched in five of the six games for the Yellow Jackets pitching 15 innings in those five games with a 2-1 record. She had a .93 ERA in her five appearances and had 22 strikeouts averaging 1.47 strikeouts per inning
- She only allowed two earned runs and seven hits in 15 innings and had a 1.07 WHIP and a .135 batting average against.
- Geschwill did not give up an extra base hit this weekend.
- She came in in relief in all five outings and even pitched in extra innings and didn't allow a run in extras.
- She pitched in 5.1 innings in game two of the doubleheader versus Minot State and only gave up one earned run and had nine strikeouts.
- She ranks second in the country in pitching appearances (5), fourth in the country in strikeouts (22), eighth in the country in victories (2), 11th in the country in strikeouts per seven innings (10.3), and 18th in the country in innings pitched (15.00)
