EDMOND, OKLA.- The Yellow Jackets fell again in both games and drop to 0-4 in Oklahoma as BHSU had a chance to take hold of game number two but ultimately fell down the stretch of both games and fall to 3-7 on the season. The Yellow Jackets got a really good game out of
Carly Reyes Mims in their matchup versus Oklahoma Baptist but could not pull out a win.

HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME 1
- BHSU got out of the first inning unharmed and then in the top of the second, Emily Marsh started the inning off with a double, advanced to third on a groundout, and scored on a single by Haleigh Pearce. Poag got out of the inning and ENMU was up 1-0.
- Giazza Lopez started the third inning with a double and advanced to third on a Christina Meneses. Lopez scored on a sacrifice fly and then Natalie Rodarte singled to score Meneses. She advanced to second and scored on an Alexa Ayala single which made the score 4-0 through three.
- In the bottom of the fourth, BHSU got some offense going. Sammie Kaufman-Warner reached on an error, and then Desi Hernandez was hit by a pitch. Caylee Mann hit an RBI double to score Kaufman-Warner, but Hernandez was thrown out at third. This ended up ending the threat, but BHSU got one back at 4-1.
- Neither team scored again until the top of the sixth when the first two batters walked to begin the inning. Meneses tripled to score both runners and make the score 6-1 Kayla Campbell reached on an error to score the pinch-runner and Campbell made it to third on two sac groundouts before Marissa Rodriguez singled to score her and double their score in the inning at 8-1.
- Samantha Parisi walked with one out in the seventh and then Lopez reached on an error that allowed Parisi to take third base and Lopez to make it to second. Meneses grounded out, but Parisi scored to make it 9-1, which is how the game ended.

HOW IT HAPPENED- GAME 2
- Paige Goodell was able to hold the Bison scoreless through the first three innings which sent the game into the fourth inning with BHSU tied 0-0 with OBU. Alexah Reyes of Oklahoma Baptist walked to lead off the inning and stole second base. With one out, Ally Ryan hit a two-run home run to open the scoring and give the Bison a 2-0 lead. Nichelle Marshall followed that by hitting a solo home run for back-to-back home runs that gave OBU a 3-0 lead and despite a couple more baserunners, that was all Goodell gave up.
- BHSU found life in the fifth inning when, with two outs, Lily Simmons walked and Carly Reyes Mims singled to put two on. Sammie Kaufman-Warner hit a double to score both runners and bring the score to 3-2. Hernandez singled to advance Kaufman-Warner to third before the half-inning ended on a strikeout. Alexah Reyes walked with one out and stole second base in the bottom of the fifth. Greenlee Wells singled to score Reyes and give OBU a 4-2 lead. Marshall hit her second home run of the game to make the score 6-2.
- The game ended early in the sixth inning when Haley Hacker hit a one-out single and advanced to second on a wild pitch. Jessi Hull singled and advanced to second on a passed ball. After that, Keirsten Briggs reached on a fielder's choice and Hacker scored on an error, which also advanced both runners to second and third, loaded the bases, and made the score 7-2. Wells singled up the middle to score both Hull and Kaley Cook which made it 9-2 and Marshall hit an RBI single to end the game at 10-2 through six innings.

The Yellow Jackets finish their final non-conference game of the season when they face #11 Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma and at their home stadium of Gerry Pinkston Field. It will end BHSU's time at the OC/UCO Festival.
