CHADRON, Neb.- It only took 10 innings for the Yellow Jackets to get two wins over the Eagles in Chadron on day one. The Yellow Jackets outscored the Eagles 28-3 over the two games with six home runs and 29 hits with the Yellow Jackets moving to five wins in the last six games. BHSU scored seven of these 28 runs in the first inning while putting up seven runs in the fifth inning of game two.

HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME 1
- Carly Reyes Mims walked to start the game and Jessica Melendez reached on an error that moved Reyes Mims to second. BHSU got on the board fast with a  three-run home run for Sammie Kaufman-Warner for her fourth home run of the season to put the Yellow Jackets up 3-0. Kaitlyn Geschwill got around a leadoff single in the bottom of the inning for what would be the start of a great game for her.
- In the top of the second, Brooklyn Theiler led off the inning with a single and advanced to second on a bunt single by Anna Gietzen. A double steal moved them both over and Melendez hit a two-RBI double to put BHSU up 5-0. Geschwill went 1-2-3 in the bottom half with two strikeouts.
- In the top of the third, Desi Hernandez singled to leadoff and Caylee Mann walked to put runners on first and second. After a pitching change, Audrey Fouras hit a single to load the bases and Theiler hit a single to score Hernandez. Gietzen reached on a fielder's choice that scored Mann to make it 7-0 BHSU.
- In the top of the next inning, Reyes Mims began the inning with a single and Melendez reached on another error. Kaufman-Warner grounded out to put runners on second and third and Desi Hernandez singled to score Reyes Mims, but Melendez was thrown out at home and Hernandez was thrown out at third on a routine, 7-2-5 double play which still put BH up 8-0.
- In the top of the fifth, Fouras singled with one out and was thrown out at second on a fielder's choice that put Theiler at first. Delaney Milanowski, who pinch hit for Gietzen, hit a two-run home run to put the Green and Gold up 10-0 with a chance to win it in the bottom half. In the bottom of the fifth, Madison Sebbo walked to lead off the inning and scored on a home run from Payton Sullivan to make it 8-2. However, Geschwill got three of the next four batters out to end the game 10-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME 2
- Reyes Mims was hit by a pitch to reach first and then reached second on a foul out. Kaufman-Warner singled to put Reyes Mims on third and then she scored on a sacrifice fly to make it 1-0. With two outs, Mann singled to advance Kaufman-Warner and they both scored on a three-run home run from Carli Maley to make it 4-0 BHSU. Paige Goodell started a great outing with a 1-2-3 inning and a strikeout to keep BHSU up 4-0.
- In the top of the second inning, Theiler singled and stole second. She then scored on a two-out double by Jessica Melendez to make it 5-0. While for Goodell, she got three out in a row after the first two batters reached base.
- In the top of the third, Caylee Mann doubled with one out before scoring on Carli Maley's second home run of the game to make it 7-0. With two outs, Theiler walked, Simmons singled, and Reyes Mims hit a two-RBI double to make it 9-0. As Goodell got around a one-out walk to keep CSC scoreless.
- In the top of the fourth, Kaufman-Warner singled to leadoff the inning before scoring on a home run from Hernandez to put BHSU up 11-0. In the bottom of the fourth, Tiffani Mein singled with one out and Brianna Cordray singled and after three different throws, Mein scored all the way from first to cut into BHSU's lead at 11-1.
- The Yellow Jackets broke it open even more in the top of the seventh when Simmons reached on an error, Milanowski hit a double to put Simmons on third and Melendez singled to score both runners to make it 13-1. Kaufman-Warner singled to score Melendez and bring the score to 14-1. Hernandez swapped places with Kaufamn-Warner on a fielder's choice and advanced to second on a walk by Alyssa Wong. Gietzen pinch ran for Hernandez and stole third before Audrey Fouras singled to score Gietzen and move Wong to third with Fouras making it to second. Gracie Oswald hit a three-run home run to put BHSU up 18-1 in the fifth inning. Goodell sent CSC down 1-2-3 to end the game and give the Green and Gold a massive win.
