FORT COLLINS, Colo.- The Yellow Jackets pulled out a 2-2 split versus Fort Lewis in the penultimate weekend of the regular season. The Yellow Jackets took game one pretty handedly thanks to a lot of offense from the top of the lineup. Nine out of ten batters from BHSU's lineup had a hit in game one and the top four in the order went 8-15 with seven RBIs out of the ten runs.

HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME 3
- Alyssa Fockler led off the game with a walk in the top of the first and then Skyler Dietz hit a double to move her to third. A one-out sacrifice fly from Rhiannon Lister made it 1-0 Fort Lewis.
- Carly Reyes Mims led off BHSU's half of the first inning with a single and was thrown out at second on a fielder's choice that put Sammie Kaufman-Warner on. Kaufman-Warner took second on a throwing error by the catcher while trying to pick her off at first and she scored on a single by Desi Hernandez to tie the game at 1-1.
- Kaitlyn Geschwill struck out two in the top of the second and Alyssa Wong and Delaney Milanowski each hit singles to start the bottom of the second. A fielder's choice moved Wong over to third with Milanowski getting out at second and a throwing error on a grounder by Reyes Mims allowed Wong to score to make it 2-1.
- Carmen Alexander walked with two outs and took second on a wild pitch. Lister hit a single that scored Alexander and Geschwill got her fourth strikeout to end the inning after FLC tied it at 2-2.
- BHSU broke it open in the bottom of the third when Maley and Caylee Mann singled to start the half inning. A sacrifice bunt moved them to second and third and a two-out single by Audrey Fouras scored Maley to put BHSU up 3-2. Lily Simmons walked to load the bases and Reyes Mims hit a two-run single to make it 5-2.
- Geschwill got her fifth and sixth strikeouts in the top of the fourth and in the bottom of the fourth, Hernandez walked, Maley doubled, and Mann walked to load the bases. A one-out RBI groundout by Milanowski made it 6-2.
- Fockler singled to lead off the top of the fifth and advanced all the way to third on a fielding error. Dietz singled to score Fockler and make it 6-3. Geschwill got out of it by recording her seventh and eighth strikeouts of the game.
- Simmons reached on an infield single and each of the next two hitters hit into fielder's choices to make it two outs with Kaufman-Warner on first. She steals second advances to third on a single by Hernandez with Hernandez reaching second on the throw, and a Maley single scored Kaufman-Warner to make it 7-3.
- In the top of the sixth, Geschwill got her ninth strikeout to go 1-2-3, and in the bottom of the sixth, Gietzen singled to lead it off with Fouras walking behind her and both Simmons and Reyes Mims being hit by a pitch to make it 8-3. A groundout by Kaufman-Warner scored Fouras to make it 9-3. Hernandez was the third Yellow Jacket batter hit by a pitch in the inning to load the bases and Maley walked to score another run and make it 10-3.
- Fockler led off the top of the seventh with a single, before Geschwill got her tenth and 11th strikeouts of the game. A walk would put runners on first and second, and a fielding error would load the bases. Makenna Milliman would single to score Fockler and make it 10-4 before Geschwill recorded her career-high 12th strikeout of the game to end the game at 10-4.

HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME 4
- FLC got around two two-out singles by Hernandez and Maley in the first inning, and then in the top of the second, McKenna Timmons reached on a fielding error. Sophia Honse got back-to-back fielder's choices to put Cali Niccum on first. Back-to-back fielding errors loaded the bases and a hit by pitch gave them a 1-0 lead. A triple by Dietz scored all three runners to make it 4-0.
- In the top of the third, Alexander reached on an error and made it to second on a wild pitch. A single by Timmons moved her to third and another wild pitch scored Alexander and allowed Timmons to get to third. Another wild pitch score Timmons and put Niccum, who just walked on second. Paige Goodell came into replace Dakota Poag and induced a groundout to move Niccum to third with two outs now. Trista Hoobler reached on a fielding error that allowed Niccum to score and make it 7-0. A double by Fockler made it 8-0 Fort Lewis before Goodell retired Dietz to end the inning.
- Hernandez walked with one out in the bottom of the third and Carli Maley reached base for the seventh straight at bat with a deep two-run home run to make it 8-2.
- In the bottom of the fourth, Simmons singled with two outs, Reyes Mims walked, and Kaufman-Warner hit a single to score Simmons and make it 8-3. That was all BHSU was able to get as the game ended just like that at 8-3 with no teams scoring in the final three innings.

The Yellow Jackets will finish their regular season with a crucial series versus the Colorado Mesa Mavericks in Grand Junction, Colorado next weekend. BHSU will look to make it to the RMAC postseason for the second straight season.
