SPEARFISH, S.D. - The Black Hills State University women's soccer program remained unbeaten and tied the school's single season wins record at 4-0-2 with a dominant 4-0 victory against New Mexico Highlands on Friday night at the Black Hills Power Sports Complex. The Yellow Jackets gained control of the match with the fastest goal in program history as Ivy Agee scored her first of two goals just five seconds in with her third multi-goal game in the last four outings. In goal, Rian Barthel made just three saves as she posted her third shutout of the season and set the program's career complete game shutouts record at seven.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Black Hills State took control of the match immediately as Ivy Agee sent the opening kickoff into the net off an assist from Ally Boysen, scoring the fastest goal in program history in just five seconds to make it a 1-0 game in the 1st minute.
- Moments later Aubri Roth scored her first goal of the season as Kylea Becker passed the ball up and over her head into the box to Roth where she headed the ball into the right corner of the net to make it 2-0 in the 6th minute.
- The Yellow Jackets continued to outshoot the Cowgirls the remainder of the opening half, 6-0, with two on target while the Green & Gold also added a corner kick to take a 2-0 advantage into the halftime break.
- Following five shot attempts, two shots on target, and three corner kicks, BHSU added a pair of goals in a two and a half minute time span in the second half to add to their advantage. First in the 57th minute, Becker sent a low free kick into the box and found Agee crossing towards the right post in the box and found space behind the New Mexico Highlands defense to place the ball back into the left corner of the net. Then off a throw in where the Yellow Jackets moved the ball forward into the attack zone, Ashley Measles passed the ball into Boysen who made a move around a defender and fired a shot into the net from 20 yards out to make it a 4-0 match in the 59th minute.
- Rian Barthel closed out her third shutout of the season with a pair of late second half saves in the 76th and 77th minute off shots from Mia Roybal.
