Before BHSU: Barner has accumulated several honors, including Omaha World Herald All-Nebraska Second Team and All-State Class A First Team in 2020 and 2021, and honorable mention in 2018 and 2019 … was also named Lincoln Journal Star Super-State Second Team and All-State Class A First Team in 2020 and 2021, and honorable mention in 2018 and 2019 … was named GNAC All-Conference in 2018 while leading the team to a conference championship, and 2019 as she helped the team win the conference championship … in 2019 she set her high school single-season record in hits with 61, and doubles (17) as she went on to be named Max Preps Player of the Year … in 2020 she set single-season records again in hits (65), as well as home runs (15) and runs (55).
