Black Hills State University Athletics

Black Hills State:  As a Yellow Jacket Nicholas won the Dakota Athletic Conference weight throw in 2010. Nicholas is currently qualified for the NAIA Indoor National Championship meet in the weight throw.

High School:  Nicholas graduated from Gregory High School in 2007, for the Gorillas Nicholas was a three sport athlete earning four varsity letters in each of the three sports as well as being named team captain in each sport.

Personal:  Nicholas is a senior at Black Hills State University majoring in business administration, in his free time he enjoys snowboarding, computers, playstation 3 and weightlifting, his favorite food is prime rib.

Nicholas is the son of David and Kathy Nicholas from Gregory, S.D. where his father is a high school superintendent and his mother is a piano teacher.  Nicholas is married to Lisa Koch-Nicholas and the couple resides in Spearfish, S.D.
