Biography

2011-2012:

Yost took over her first season-long role as the setter for the Yellow Jackets in her sophomore year. Yost was active in all 31 matches for Black Hills State, recording 893 total assists and averaging 8.19 assists per set. Yost also averaged 1.63 digs per set and tallied a total of 33 blocks on the season. Yost was one of four nominees for the ICAA Setter of the Year award.

High School:


Darbi Yost was a three sport high school athlete earning three varsity letters in volleyball, three in basketball and four letters in track and field. On her high school squad Yost played outside hitter and earned All-State honors on the court in 2009. Yost was also a three time All-State track athlete earning honors in 2008, 2009, 2010.
