Kearney, Neb. – The Black Hills State volleyball split two matches at the UNK Fall Classic in Kearney, Neb.
In the first match of the day, the Yellow Jackets won a five-game thriller over Sioux Falls, 3-2. Amy O'Neill led the team with 14 kills while Kayla Drieling added 13 kills and hit .392 for the match. Kelsey Olson recorded 19 digs.
Black Hills State lost 3-0 to Missouri Western State. The Yellow Jackets struggled offensively with O'Neill recording a team-high six kills.
The Yellow Jackets will travel to Jamestown, N.D. to take on Jamestown on Sept. 16 at 7 p.m. CT.
