In the second half, Billings never looked back and the Yellow Jackets fell 89-50.

Adler led BHSU with 18 points and Maag added nine. Brody Brisk once again added valuable minutes off the bench with seven points and three rebounds. As a team, the Yellow Jackets shot 17-of-53 (32.1 percent) from the field.

Billings was led by Sam Johnson who had a game-high 19 points and MSUB shot 41.3 percent from the field.

"The biggest thing was that they really pressured us and we just didn't respond," said head coach Bradd Schafer. "It was good for us to see as a team being early in the season. We turned the ball over way too many times tonight. It just kind of snowballed from there. We just have to learn from this and get better."
