Spearfish, S.D. – Black Hills State University Director of Athletics Jhett Albers announced today that the Yellow Jackets cancelled their double-header scheduled for Saturday, February 4 against Dakota Wesleyan due to field conditions.
"We were hopeful that we could get a couple of early season games in this weekend, but the field just isn't going to be safe enough to be played on yet," said Albers.
The Yellow Jackets will begin their season on February, 17 as they travel to Pueblo, Colo. to compete in the RMAC/NSIC Crossover tournament. Black Hills State will face Colorado State – Pueblo on Friday, February 17 at 10:00 a.m.
