SPEARFISH, S.D. – Due to poor weather conditions from the recent storm that passed through Spearfish and laid a new sheet of snow, the Black Hills State University softball games have been cancelled.

The games originally scheduled for Saturday at 12:00 p.m. MT and 2:00 p.m. MT along with Sunday's at 11:00 a.m. MT and 1:00 p.m. MT, will not be played and due to Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference rules, if the games are made up they will be played as non-conference contests.

At this time there no plans to reschedule the games vs. UCCS; however, your Yellow Jackets will get back on the diamond this coming Tuesday, April 16, barring poor weather, as they travel to play a double-header versus the Dickinson State Blue Hawks (14-13) of the Frontier Conference in the NAIA.

The next RMAC action for BHSU will come on April 20-21, in their last home stand of the season versus Fort Lewis (11-18, 9-15 RMAC) for senior weekend.

Next weekend's back-to-back double-headers versus Fort Lewis will be Saturday at 12:00 and 2:00 p.m. MT, and Sunday's are set for 11:00 a.m. MT with the second and final home game of the year set for 1:00 p.m.
