Grand Junction, CO – Jordan Theisen led the Black Hills State University men's cross country team with his 19
th place finish at the RMAC championships. His time of 24:47 in the 8 kilometer (5 mile) race is not only a personal best, but it earned him second team All-RMAC honors. The men's team ended up in ninth.
Xiomara Robinson was the first Yellow Jacket across the line in the women's 6 kilometer taking 32
nd to lead the women's team to eighth place.

Despite gradual, but long, inclines that turned sections of the race into a mental grind, 14 members of the travel squad all recorded personal bests.

Abbie Fredrick was second for the Green and Gold, finishing just seconds behind Robinson in 34
th. Next across the line was
Kelsey Van Den Hemel in 49
th with a time of 22:42
. Eight seconds back was
Ruby Lindquist in 54
th with a time of 22:50. Rounding out the scorers for the Green and Gold was
Mayson Hudyma. In her first RMAC XC championship appearance she ran a time of 23:50, good for 75
th. Right behind was
Erica Dykstra, also competing in her first RMAC XC championship, her 23:57 time was good for 77
th.
Nicole Allerdings fought through a tough race and finished 94
th with a time of 24:28.

For the men,
Keith Osowski was the second Yellow Jacket across the line, he ran 25:20 for 40

Collin Brauer had a huge impact on the team today, being the third Yellow Jacket to finish in 52
nd place with a time of 25:40. Coming back from illness was
Jake Iverson who took 70
th in a time of 26:07. The final scorer for BH was
Noah Bordewyk, competing in his first RMAC cross country championship. He was 73
rd in 26:13.
Chase Smith toed the line for the first time in three years, his last cross country race was RMAC's 2016. He ran 26:34 good for 86
th place.
Clay Johnson rounded out the Green and Golds top seven cracking the top 100 finishing in 98
th with a time of 27:08.

The Green and Gold Harriers will next be in action at the NCAA South Region Championship in Canyon Texas in two weeks time. Here they will be vying for a bid in the National Championships.Â
