Black Hills State women's volleyball is hitting the road for their last slate of home games as they are set to take on University of Colorado – Colorado Springs and Colorado State University Pueblo Friday and Saturday.
 
BHSU (7-15, 4-10 RMAC) will take on UCCS (7-14, 4-10 RMAC) Friday, November 5 at 7:00 p.m. and CSUP (16-6, 10-4 RMAC) Saturday, November 6th at 7:00 p.m.
 
The Yellow Jackets are coming off a pair of home wins against Adams State and New Mexico Highlands University. BHSU faced off against ASU Friday night in the Donald E. Young Center in a match up that went five sets with the Yellow Jackets dropping the first two sets only to rally back and take the five-set victory. In that match up four Yellow Jackets recorded double digit kills. Saturday the Yellow Jackets would face off against the Cowgirls in a four-set battle that would see BHSU win set one and two, drop set three, and with set four to take the victory.

BHSU (7-15, 4-10 RMAC) vs UCCS (7-14, 4-10 RMAC)
The Mountain Lions are coming off a weekend split where they defeated Chadron State on the road in straight sets and fell to #12 Colorado School of Mines on the road in straight sets. Currently UCCS is ranked tied for tenth in the RMAC with the Yellow Jackets being one of the teams the Mountain Lions are tied with. The Yellow Jackets and Cougars did not play in 2020 making the last time the two teams squared off October 5th, 2019. The Yellow Jackets were victorious in that match up after four sets of play with the Mountain Lions recording the set one victory 25-21 before the Yellow Jackets would win set two 25-23, set three 27-25, and set four 27-25.

The Thunderwolves are coming off a weekend split where they fell to #12 Colorado school of Mines on the road in straight sets and defeated Chadron State in straight sets on the road. Currently CSUP is ranked fifth in the RMAC. The last time the Yellow Jackets and Thunderwolves faced off was September 18th, 2021. In that contest the Thunderwolves were victorious defeating the Yellow Jackets in straight sets.
