Black Hills State women's golf is set to compete in their first meet of the spring season in Pueblo Colorado March 21st and 22nd.

This will be Head Coach
Craig Marsh's first outing as the Yellow Jackets head coach. Marsh came to the Yellow Jackets after coaching at Hastings College in Hastings, Neb. He joined BHSU staff in December of 2020.

Last fall the Yellow Jackets ended their fall season with a 10
th place finish in the Samuel Proal Tournament. BHSU was led by Junior
Jade Burr in that contest who finished tied for 13th place with a score of 160 (+16).

The two day, 36-hole event will be played at the 7,147-yard, par-72 Walking Stick Golf Course in Pueblo, Colo. This tournament features a fourteen-team field, including, Adams State, Black Hills State, Chadron State, Colorado Mesa, Colorado Springs Colo., Fort Lewis College, Metro State, Minot State, Montana State- Billings, Regis, South Dakota Mines, Southwestern Christian, Western New Mexico, and Western Washington.

Competing for the Yellow Jackets will be junior
Jade Burr, sophomore
Nicole Klungness, sophomore
Jocelyn Olson, freshman
Ashtyn Swigart, and senior
Megan Zigray.

Play will begin with a 10 a.m. shotgun start on Sunday and a 9 a.m. start Monday.
