COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo- The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced the 2025-26 First Team Academic All-RMAC and RMAC Academic Honor Roll selections for the sport of women's golf on Wednesday afternoon. Representing Black Hills State University on the Academic Honor Roll was
Olivia McCandless.
McCandless was named to the Honor Roll last year as well and finished with a cumulative 3.32 GPA at BHSU. The now graduated golfer participated in all four events in the Spring, which included an impressive 163 (+19) at the Augustana Spring Invite which put her in a tie for 22
nd in the event in which she shot a 79 (+7) on day two. She made her season debut in Arizona at the SMSU classic, where she shot a 170 (+30) putting up an 85 on both days and then in the RMAC Championships, she shot another 85 (+13) on day one of the tournament and shot a 218 (+38) over the three days.
The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes in each conference sponsored sport who academically maintain at least a 3.30 cumulative grade-point average as both an undergraduate and graduate student, have completed two consecutive semesters at their current institution, and have used a season of competition.
