SOUTH JORDAN, Utah. – BHSU women's golf completed round one of the Westminster Wasatch Invite this afternoon and placed 12
th out of the 12-team field.
The ladies clocked out round one at a team total of 345 strokes (+57). The University of Tampa currently leads the field at the Glenmoor Golf Club in first with 292 (+4). Colorado Mesa finished in second with 296 (+8) and Colorado Christian holds third place at 300 (+12).
Lola Homiston leads the Yellow Jacket team effort as she finished day one in a three-way tie for 41
st with 83 (+11).
Olivia McCandless finished in a seven-way tie for 44
th at an 84-stroke count (+12) while
Katie Jorgenson ties for 59
th at 87 strokes (+15).
Jocelyn Olson ended her round in 65
th with 91 strokes (+19) and
Cami Langley rounded out the Yellow Jacket golfers with 66
th place on 94 strokes (+22).
Kaitlyn Dumler, who is competing as an individual in the event, joined McCandless in the seven-way tie for 44
th at an 84-stroke count (+12).
