BILLINGS, Mont. – Black Hills State women's golf completed the final round of the MSU Billing' Yellowjacket Fall Invitational on Tuesday afternoon, finishing the tournament in eighth.
The Yellow Jackets (698, +65) lead golfers at the Lake Hills Golf Course were
Lola Homiston and
Katie Jorgenson (173, +29) as both BHSU ladies led the team in a tie 33
rd. Homiston bounced back from her first-round performance, scratching off three strokes in the second round.
Anna Talarico (176, +32) finished in a tie for 37
th while
Cami Langley (183, +39) improved by five swings on day two, locking up with two other golfers for 43
rd.
Jessica Folchert (202, +58) rounded out the Yellow Jacket golfers as an individual, placing 49
th.
In a hectic changeup on day two, Rocky Mountain College (605, +29) jumped two places in the second round to take the team victory at the Yellowjacket Fall Invite, with Chadron State (623, +31) and South Dakota Mines' "A" team (625, +33) taking second and third, respectively, to round out the top-three.
