PUEBLO, Colo – Black Hills State women's golf competed in the first round of the Sam Proal Invite on Monday morning, finishing the first day of competition in 12
th place.
The Yellow Jackets (369, +81) were led by
Ava Kalanek (88, +16), who finished the first day in a six-player mix for 49
th.
Cami Langley (90, +18) landed right behind her teammate in a six-way tie for 56
th.
Katie Jorgenson (95, +23) landed with four other golfers for 71
st while
Lola Homiston (96, +24) stands alone in 75
th.
Rounding out the BHSU team was
Madisen Jarrett (99, +27), who finished the first round in a tie for 79
th.
Leading the women's field at the Pueblo Country Club was Texas A&M International (302, +14), followed by Midwestern (309, +21) and South Dakota Mines (318, +30) in second and third place, respectively.
