NIOBRARA, Neb. – Black Hills State women's golf is on a hot start at the Tatanka Spring Invite after day one on Friday, leading the pack with a ten-shot lead upon the day's conclusion.
The Yellow Jackets (345, +57) currently lead the pack by ten strokes, with the Mount Marty women's team (355, +67) ending day one as runners-up and Dakota Wesleyan (372, +84) rounding out the top three.
Kaitlyn Dumler (83, +11) and
Olivia McCandless (84, +12) had a big day and currently sit in second and third place on the player leaderboard, with Dumler only four shots behind lead golfer Kelsey Heath from Mount Marty (79, +7).
Lola Homiston sits in a tie for eighth (88, +16) while
Jocelyn Olson (90, +18) rounds out the Yellow Jacket golfers in the top ten.
Katie Jorgenson (92, +20) is locked in a four-way tie for 15
th while
Cami Langley (101, +29), who competed as an individual, ended the day in 34
th.
