CHADRON, Neb. – The Black Hills State track and field squads head down to Chadron State this weekend for the 2023 RMAC Championship meet, which is scheduled to start on Friday, April 28 and end on Sunday, April 30.
Day one will see the heptathlon and decathlon events kick the weekend off at 9:20 a.m. and 9:40 a.m., respectively, before the first of the running events take place with the men's and women's 10k starting at 9:55 a.m.
The heptathlon and decathlon competitions will conclude on day two, Saturday, April 29 as field events will debut at 2 p.m. with women's discus. Running events will mostly include the preliminary heats with the 200m prelims slated to start at 4:30 p.m., men performing first throughout the day.
The men's and women's 3000m steeplechase will begin with the men's competition at 6:15 p.m., with the women's to follow at 6:45 p.m.
Sunday, April 30 will be the third and final day of competition, with field events beginning at 9:30 a.m. and running events slated for a 12:30 p.m. start. The 2023 RMAC Championships will conclude around 4 or 5 p.m. with the season awards ceremony, which will take place upon the conclusion of Sunday's competitions.
