Black Hills State softball is home for its final series of the 2023 season, hosting UC Colorado Springs for a four-game set.
Originally scheduled as a Friday-Saturday series, the games will start at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 29 and then 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 30 due to inclement weather in Friday's forecast.
Saturday will be BHSU's Senior Day, and will hold a ceremony honoring the team's seniors following game two.
UCCS currently sits in 10th place in the RMAC with a 10-28 conference record, and 13-34 overall. The Mountain Lions are coming off a weekend sweep at the hands of Chadron State last Saturday and Sunday, and have now lost six straight games, and 10 of their last 12.
BHSU is 6-30 all-time against UCCS dating back to 2012, and have lost 16 of their last 17 meetings, with their last win against them coming last season, a 7-5 victory on March 5, 2022.
The Yellow Jackets are coming off a series in which they got swept by CSU Pueblo last weekend.
