Spearfish, SD – Weather and cold temperatures have forced Black Hills State University soccer to cancel its game with Colorado Christian University. The game was originally scheduled to be played Sunday at 1pm. Despite the efforts of many, the field was unsuitable for play.
Â
CCU and BHSU agreed to move the game to Monday at 11:00am but temperature forecasts were already looking grim. Keeping the safety of players in mind, both parties agreed to cancel the game.
Â
Sunday's game was supposed to be Senior Day. Coach Greco thanks
Dz-Rae Jara,
Katie Nielson,
Rose Miller, and Jessica Shuman for all they have done for the program.
Â
The Green and Gold will wrap up their season next weekend in Colorado where they face UCCS November first at 4:30pm and Metro State at 11:00am on November third.
