SPEARFISH, S.D. – The Black Hills State University women's golf team is set for the final tournament of the fall season this weekend. The Yellow Jackets travel to Sioux Falls, S.D., to compete in the Augie Invite, hosted by Augustana University.
The tournament will be held at the Elmwood Golf Course, a par-72, 6,120-yard course. Ten teams will compete, teeing off on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. The play will wrap up on Sunday with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
The Yellow Jackets most recently competed at the Mustang Invite, hosted by Southwest Minnesota State. The Green and Gold shot their best two-day total of the fall (718), while carding the team's low round on the first day of play (356). They finished the weekend in 11th place, led by Hayley Franke and Nicole Klungness who finished in a tie for 58th. Jocelyn Olson was 69th, while Abigail James was T-72 and Gracie Johnson took 81st.
