COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Black Hills State Volleyball had ten student-athletes named to the RMAC Honor Roll, as announced by the league office Friday morning.
 
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must carry a 3.30 cumulative grade point average and must have been an active student at the institution for at least two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters.
 
Yellow Jackets named to the honor roll include Peyton Bodemann, Kindra Cerrone, Brooke Franklin, Madison Hoopman, Karly Marx, Haedyn Rhoades, Katelyn Sylvester, Ashley Uffelman, Sierra Ward, and Katie Welniak.
 
Peyton Bodemann – 3.406 Exercise Science
Bodemann is a junior middle hitter from Kremmling, Colo. who carries a 3.406 GPA in Exercise Science. Peyton played in 45 sets for the Yellow Jackets this season recording 51 kills and 19 aces.
 
Kindra Cerrone – 3.468 – Biology
Cerrone is a junior outside hitter from Denver, Colo. majoring in Biology who carries a 3.468 GPA. Kindra played in 55 sets this season for the Yellow Jackets recording 120 kills and 11 aces.
 
Brooke Franklin – 4.00 Professional Accounting
Franklin is a sophomore defensive specialist from Sidney, Mont. who is majoring in Professional Accounting carrying a 4.00 GPA. Brooke played in one set this year with the Yellow Jackets.
 
Madison Hoopman – 3.922 Business Administration
Hoopman is a junior outside hitter from Douglas, Wyo. majoring in Business Administration who carries a 3.922 GPA. Madison played in 45 sets with the Yellow Jackets this season recording 112 kills and five aces.
 
Karly Marx – 3.844 Undeclared
Marx is a sophomore setter from Elk Point, S.D. who is currently undeclared carrying a 3.844 GPA. This season Karly played in 55 sets for the Yellow Jackets leading the team in assists with 281 while recording nine aces.
 
Haedyn Rhoades – 3.933 Business Administration
Rhoades is a sophomore libero from Douglas, Wyo. majoring in Business Administration who carries a 3.933 GPA. This season Rhoades earn Second Team All-RMAC after playing in 51 sets for the Yellow Jackets recording 13 aces and leading the team in digs with 231.
 
Katelyn Sylvester – 3.727 Human Services
Sylvester is a sophomore setter from Sidney, Neb. majoring in Human Services who carries a 3.727 GPA. Katelyn played in 26 sets for the Yellow Jackets this season recording two aces and 35 digs.
 
Ashley Uffelman – 3.527 Psychology
Uffelman is a senior outside hitter from Hardin, Mont. majoring in Psychology with a 3.527 GPA. Ashley played in 26 sets for the Yellow Jackets this season recording five block assists and ten kills.
 
Sierra Ward – 4.00 Chemistry
Ward is a junior outside hitter from Fruitdale, S.D. majoring in chemistry who carries a 4.00 GPA. This season Ward earned All-RMAC Honorable Mention after playing in 51 sets and leading the team in kills. Ward also recorded 35 digs, four solo blocks, and 28 block assists.
 
Katie Welniak – 3.961 Communications
Welniak is a junior outside hitter from Laramie, Wyo. majoring in Communications who carries a 3.961 GPA. Katie played in 33 sets for BHSU this season recording 43 digs, three kills, and three aces.
